Fullness of Joy
God is so good! My heart just sings
To think that He, the King of kings,
Should call me, by His love, apart
And deign to dwell within my heart.
In Him alone I find delight,
All other joys have taken flight.
He is my peace, and I have found
Pleasures at His right hand abound–
Pleasures that last forevermore;
(How quickly those of earth are o’er!)
Fullness of joy–fullness of peace,
Here in His presence never cease.
Low at Thy feet, dear Lord, I fall–
How can my heart contain it all?
How can my mind Thy love conceive?
Still, ‘tis They word, and I believe.
Ever my heart shall sing Thy praise,
Ever my lips shall tell They ways–
God is so great, and I so small,
How can my heart contain it all!
