At Home With The Lord

She has gone to be with Jesus,

She shall suffer nevermore,

In a body whole and glorious

Now she walks that golden shore.

Could we wish her back among us

Where her body knew such pain?

If the choice were ours, who love her

Would we call her back again?

Sweet her life, and sweet our memories

As we think of her today,

But we know she’s with her Saviour

And she’s happier that way.

Though we weep because we miss her,

Still we know she wears a smile.

Make us ready, Lord, for heaven,

Where we’ll meet her after ‘while.
