Christ Is Risen

Christ is risen! Sing it, shout it,

Tell a waiting world about it.

Angel throngs take up the story,

Peace to man, to God all glory.

Christ is risen! Could death hold Him

Or the strongest grave enfold Him?

It is finished; Christ has done it;

God has set His seal upon it!

Christ is risen! Angels name Him

King of kings, in song proclaim Him

Over all the world victorious,

Lord of life, the Saviour glorious.

Christ is risen! He has brought me

Pardon which His blood has bought me.

Life is yours, if you’ll but take Him

Now, and your redeemer make Him.
