Christ May Come Today

If the trump of God should sound today

And the dead in Christ arise,

Have all your sins been washed away?

Would you meet Him in the skies?

It will be too late to get ready then,

When the clouds shall roll away;

Receive the Saviour, be born again,

For Christ may come today.

Have you told your friends of the Saviour’s love

So they can be ready too?

Will they meet you ‘round His throne above

And say, “It’s because of you”?
