Except Ye Become As Little Children

The gates of heaven are open

To whosoever will;

God in his mercy has spoken,

And shall His word fulfill.

Soon may His call be silenced,

The invitation cease,

And only those who’ve entered

Shall know eternal peace.

A little child can enter,

So simple is the way;

For Jesus loved the children,

And calls them still today.

Except ye come as children

In meek humility

Ye shall not gain the kingdom,

Nor live eternally.
