Invitation

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock;

Come, open and let me in.

I bring you a gift I bought with my life -

It is pardon for every sin.

It will sup with you, and you with me,

And the bread I break for you

Will satisfy your hungry soul

As nothing else could do.

I will be your Shepherd, Guide and Friend.

What power my love could sever?

Give me your weary, restless life

And you shall live forever.”

Oh will you keep Him waiting there?

Fling open wide the door

And say, “Come in Lord Jesus, come

And reign forevermore.”
