One Day At A Time

One day at a time, He will give you the grace

For the trial you bear, for the problems you face.

He who guided and led you right up to this day

Will be all-sufficient the rest of the way.

He knows all your sorrow, He sees every tear,

And He tenderly whispers, “Dear child, I am here.

Just trust in my love and we’ll walk hand in hand.

Don’t look way ahead and give up in despair,

Just take the next step and I’ll lead you from there.

I’ll never forsake you, you walk not alone,

I am the good shepherd, and care for my won.

The past, and the present, and future are mine,

Take courage, I’ll lead you one day at a time.”
