Our Work

There’s a work for every Christian

In the service of the King,

Some can preach with mighty power,

Some can play, and some can sing;

Some can reach the lost by thousands,

Others touch one lonely heart;

All have not the same commission,

Each for Christ must do his part.

When we stand before the Saviour,

This His word to us shall be,

“Did you do the job I gave you?

Have you done your best for Me?”

Some must go to take the gospel,

Spread the news from shore to shore,

Still if all should cross the ocean

Who would reach that man next door?

Live each day as unto Jesus,

He has promised to reward

Every cup of water given

In the name of Christ your Lord.
