We’ll Understand Then

Trust in the Saviour who makes no mistake,

He’ll never fail you, He’ll never forsake,

Life may seem difficult, burdens may press,

But through them all He is able to bless.

You are His child, and although He may test

Nothing can touch you unless it is best.

He knows tomorrow, and what it would bring,

So in His wisdom He sends the right thing,

We see today and our hearts how with pain

When we’ve prayed for sunshine and God sends rain,

But when we reach heaven some glorious day

We’ll see how He’s lead each step of the way,

We’ll understand then how our joys and our tears

Were working together for good through the years.
